Adobe Flash Player is the right tool to reproduce those multimedia buttons we find in some WebPages, interactive animations, logos or any other type of graphics created with Flash. It’s a rather small Flash player, that takes very little to download, and it is supposed to be the real starting point for the authentic multimedia experience over the web.
Its advantages are countless. Adobe Flash Player increases the speed of Flash content and its applications due to a noticeable acceleration of the application’s start-up and a reduction of 50% of memory consumption. It accelerates the processing of vectors, bitmaps, filters and video, enhances performance and the quality on full screen reproduction by means of hardware scale, it also increases quality and performance of the reproduction of reduced images through the use of a brand new algorithm that is useful to scale bitmaps images.
Adobe Flash Player supports high quality MP3 audio streams, text field insertion, interactive interfaces, etc. It is capable of reproducing all existing and known flash formats and is compatible with Mozilla Firefox, Netscape, Opera, e Internet Explorer browsers.

Advantages:

Adobe Flash Player is a must-have for every Web surfer.

Disadvantages:

Version 9 on my Vista Home Basic does not work

its a beta!)
Altho I don't think you should install flash as of yet as it probably needs more development!

This is the version for mozilla firefox and other compatible browsers... it doesnt need to be updated, because it is already up to
date. The Version for Microsoft INternet Explorer has simply a higher version number

My sister has a Laptop with Vista Home Basic on it, and has no problem running a Flash Player Plugins, ActiveX and Standalone
Flash Player... I wonder if the review was reviewed!

you should have an option of choosing to use a beta version, and not get annoying updates balloons when you have the latest
version.
personally I don't use beta versions because they are unstable and I don't want to be a software tester for the big corporations
